The resources have been provided by the credit line signed in 2009 with the German bank KfW

Considered from 01 June 2010, ProCredit Bank starts offering "Energy efficiency" business loans. All companies that would like to realize investment projects with the purpose of improving the energy efficiency of their own business may take advantage of it. With the new loans the bank expands its range of loan products and provides the business with opportunity to fund some investments in more effective technologies and production processes.

Eligible for funding shall be the activities on improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings, related to business (i.e. productive, trading, warehouse, office spaces, etc.) such as disinfection, replacement of window frames, roof repairs, construction or replacement of air-conditioning systems; purchase of new or replacement of old machines, equipment and technologies with new ones of higher energy class; placement of solar panels, wind generators and other renewable energy resources, co-generation, installation of gas furnaces, biomass furnaces and other investments, resulting in improvement of the energy parameters or reduction of the hazardous emissions of gas.

ProCredit Bank realizes the "Energy efficiency" programme with the support of the European Union, Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau - KfW (the German bank for development) and the Council of Europe Development Bank - CEB (Bank for development at the Europe Council). Consultants on the programme are Grontmij Carl Bro Group and the Bulgarian Consulting Center.
